The history of the Oderberger Stadtbad
The Hotel Oderberger is located in one of Berlin’s most historic buildings: the former Stadtbad Oderberger. Built in 1902, the Stadtbad served the residents of Prenzlauer Berg as a place of hygiene and meeting for decades. After its closure in 1986, the baths were initially left to decay. It was only after careful renovation from 2012 that the building was given a new lease of life as a stylish boutique hotel. The historic indoor swimming pool with its original details is now the heart of the hotel. Find out more about the history at berlin.de/stadtbad-oderberger.
