The restaurant and indoor swimming pool are barrier-free. However, the sauna is not barrier-free. In addition, not all historic doors in the building open automatically – the reception team will be happy to assist guests if required.

Small dogs are allowed in the large apartment on request. The large apartment has four bedrooms (two of which have balconies) and two bathrooms. In the other room categories, pets can also be checked in on request – please specify when booking.

The ceiling height in the upper sleeping area is approx. 170 cm, which can be restrictive for tall people. The approx. 23 m² rooms are equipped with a king-size box-spring bed on the upper level and offer an unusual feeling of space overall.

Yes, external guests can also visit the historic indoor swimming pool, but must book a time slot online in advance. The pool and sauna remain closed during events in the indoor swimming pool. It is advisable to check the current opening times in advance.

In addition to the standard furnishings with oak parquet flooring and box-spring beds, guests in the Premium category benefit from the more spacious room design and historic window fronts. As with all rooms, Wi-Fi, a coffee/tea machine and the preferential rate for the pool (5 euros) are included.

The rooms are suitable for a wide range of events: from corporate events, conferences and product presentations to galas, concerts, parties and photo shoots. The fireplace bar and the salon also offer intimate settings for smaller groups.

The hotel has three spacious barrier-free rooms (approx. 27 m²) in the basement. They are accessible via elevators and automatic doors and are located near the reception, bar and swimming pool. Access to the building is via a lift to the left of the main entrance.

The Junior Suites are approx. 30 m² in size and are located on the top floor of the front building. They have a historic window front facing Oderberger Straße and are characterized by a spacious room layout and separate seating area.

Hotel guests do not have to book a time slot online, but can simply report to reception. Bathrobe and slippers are provided in the room, additional bath towels are available at reception. The preferential rate for hotel guests is 5 euros.

Vouchers can be ordered via the hotel’s website. They can be redeemed in a variety of ways: for hotel accommodation, the breakfast restaurant, the fireplace bar or a visit to the historic city baths with pool and sauna.

The M10 streetcar line stops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and connects it to Berlin Central Station in around 15 minutes. The Airport Express runs from BER airport to the main station, from where you can continue on the M10. A welcome transfer can optionally be booked via the provider Transfers for Hotels.

The hotel relies on regional suppliers such as Andraschko Kaffeemanufaktur, Berlin honey, Berlinsky sparkling wine and Rollberg draft beer from Neukölln. Organic care products from refillable dispensers are used in the rooms. The Green Option allows guests to opt out of daily room cleaning.

The approx. 24 m² Family Room is located in the converted attic and has twin beds. There are also two additional beds (90 cm each) on a maisonette level, which can be reached via a narrow wooden staircase.

Yes, there are regular guided tours of the renovated Stadtbad. On the annual Open Monument Day, the operating family and their team offer guided tours every hour. There is also a construction blog with photo reports and further information on the renovation.

The hotel has a limited number of parking spaces (25 euros per night), which should be reserved in advance. Alternatively, you can use the parking garage in the Kulturbrauerei on Sredzkistraße, which is only about 200 meters away.

The upper sleeping level is accessible via a narrow wooden staircase and is therefore expressly not suitable for small children. For families with older children, however, the room offers a practical solution with separate sleeping areas.

Yes, GLS and the Hotel Oderberger are actively involved in the Prenzlauer Berg district and are regular sponsors of cultural events. Yes, the hotel automatically grants a discount on the room rate for stays of three nights or more. The discount is calculated automatically when booking via the website, a voucher code is not required.

No, there is no elevator in the water tower. Access to the tower rooms is exclusively via stairs. Guests with limited mobility should take this into account when booking. Barrier-free rooms in the basement are available as an alternative.

The hotel offers two apartment variants on the top floor: a small apartment for 2 to 4 people and a large apartment for 2 to 8 people. Both have floor-to-ceiling windows, full-length balconies with far-reaching views, oak floorboards and a kitchen.

The tower rooms are located in the former water tower of the Stadtbad and are spread over five floors. Each approx. 23 m² studio is equipped with twin beds, a private bathroom and a kitchenette.

All rooms are equipped with oak parquet flooring, box-spring beds, Wi-Fi, a coffee and tea machine and free telephone calls within Germany. All rooms are non-smoking. Hotel guests also receive a special price of 5 euros for admission to the historic indoor swimming pool.

The Premium rooms are larger at approx. 25 m² and are located on the upper floors of the front building. They have a historic window front facing Oderberger Strasse and are particularly light-flooded. The upscale location offers a more beautiful view of the street and the neighborhood.

The buffet offers fresh regional products, homemade patisserie, healthy smoothies as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Highlights include waffles, omelettes and croissants with Berlin honey. A glass of Berlinsky sparkling wine can also be ordered.

The measures include 100 percent green electricity, an in-house combined heat and power plant with heat recovery, LED lighting in all rooms, smart thermostats, an in-house well for irrigation and rainwater collection. There is no individual packaging or plastic at the breakfast buffet.

Designed in 1898 and opened in 1902, the municipal baths served the residents of Prenzlauer Berg as a place of hygiene and meeting for decades. After its closure in 1986, the building stood empty. The careful renovation by the Jaeschke family (GLS Campus Berlin) began in 2012. The Hotel Oderberger opened in February 2016.

The maisonette rooms are located in the side aisles of the former city baths and extend over two levels with an impressive ceiling height of approx. 5 meters. The living area and bathroom are on the lower level, while a wide metal staircase leads to the sleeping area on the upper level.

The Hotel Oderberger is a listed boutique hotel in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district, housed in the former Oderberger public baths. The building, which was designed in 1898 and opened in 1902, was reopened as a hotel in February 2016 after extensive refurbishment. It has 70 rooms, two apartments and 5 tower suites.

The historic indoor swimming pool has a hydraulic lifting floor that makes it possible to transform the pool area into a flat event space. This means that guests can dance, dine and celebrate where people normally swim. This makes the hall one of the most extraordinary event locations in Berlin.

At Midnight Swim, guests can use the historic indoor pool exclusively for two from 10 pm to midnight. The hall is illuminated in a color of your choice. The price includes towels, bathrobes, use of the bathing sofas and a bottle of Oderberger Pinot Rosé sparkling wine. Reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance.

The heart of the hotel is the historic neo-Renaissance-style swimming pool, which has been faithfully restored after 30 years of vacancy. The combination of listed architecture with contemporary hotel comfort makes the hotel unique. The original design elements such as tiles, lights and banisters have been carefully preserved.

The specials include the exclusive Midnight Swim (private use of the indoor pool for two people from 10 p.m. to midnight including sparkling wine), the long-term discount for stays of three nights or more and gift vouchers that can be redeemed in the hotel, restaurant, Kaminbar and Stadtbad.

The Hotel Oderberger has been certified with the Green Sign label since 2022. Sustainability is an integral part of the corporate strategy and encompasses ecological, social and economic aspects. Guests can submit ideas and suggestions to the reception team.

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 10:30 am and at weekends from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

The Kaminbar on the first floor of the hotel is open Monday to Sunday from 5 pm. It offers a hand-picked selection of wines and spirits from Berlin and Germany. During the day until 5 pm, the Kaminbar can be hired exclusively for photo shoots or informal receptions.

The Comfort rooms are located in the historic side wings of the building. Depending on the room, they are located in the basement with direct access to the inner courtyard or on the first and second floors. The double rooms are approx. 20 m² in size, the single rooms approx. 14 m².

The Oderberger restaurant is located in the former thermal power station of the municipal swimming pool and impresses with a room height of 15 meters on three levels. Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 10:30 am and at weekends from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The terrace is also available in good weather.

The Comfort category offers good value for money for travelers who want to enjoy the historic charm of the hotel without sacrificing modern amenities. The furnishings with box-spring beds and oak parquet flooring ensure a high level of comfort.

The separate seating area makes the Junior Suites particularly suitable for guests who want more space to work or relax. They are ideal for longer stays, business travelers or couples who want to treat themselves to something special.

The hotel is part of the GLS Campus Berlin and is run by the Jaeschke family. Dr. Verena Jaeschke is the second generation of the family to manage the hotel together with hotel director Tini Diekmann. GLS is a women-run family business with around 150 employees from over 15 nations.
